Need help deciding on Krabi Hotel?

I don't remember any of the hotels you have mentnioned. We stayed at Phra Nang Inn which is located on the beach. If you search it, you can see photos of it on the internet. We are also Canadian and stayed there a few years ago before the Tsunami. We really liked it. It was clean and styled kind of Robinson Caruso-like. Lots of balconies with big comfy chairs to sit in, two pools, restaurant. Walk across the street to the beach. We took an incredible boat tour, booked through the hotel, to little islands located nearby. The tour included a boxed lunch and we stopped at one of the islands with turquois waters - it was magnificent. We booked this hotel through family members who are Thai so we had "inside" info on this hotel. Sorry but I can't remember exactly how expensive it was, but I know I saw it recently on the internet and the prices were listed. They also sent a car to pick us up at the airport - I think lots of the hotels will do this for you.
