Introduction for my essay?

Well, you've got a decent beginning. I'd offer more advice on that, but you don't have time, you need to sleep. As for your thesis statement, what do you think the "iron" symbolizes? I've never read the book, but being an english junkie, I'd say your best bet is to say "The repeated use of the word iron in the book refers to *blah blah blah*" and maybe add a "which *blah blah blah blah*", depending on what your thesis is. I'm not promising an A, but it's your best shot at 2 am.
