Should I tell my partner NOW or wait the week for the results?

I got TESTED for STDs today and was told that they viewed the samples underneath the microscope and that they found a large number of white blood cells in my , signaling an infection. They have to send the sample to the lab to find out what it is (chlamydia, gonorrhea, ect). She gave me antibiotics already for the finding and i have to call in a week to find out specifics. Does this absolutely mean I have an STD and should I tell my partner to get tested NOW or do I need to wait the week until the results come back? How should I tell him?
