How to crochet, I don't know anything about it?

when i started crocheting i didn't know anything about it at all. i looked on www.about.com and found all the answers i needed. i was able to find what all the abbreviations mean as well as what the different types of yarn are. I am now able to create just about anything!! (i've been doing it for only 5 years now!)
