What is possessing president Bush to start several wars in the Middle East for no good reason?

Its not for no good reason. I think that he and his neo-con buddies actually thought they could fundementally change with ME by introducing democracy to Iraq. To do that, they needed to minimalize Iranian interference. Hence the aggressive policy toward Iran.
