What were the major differences in leadership styles between Booker T. Washington & W.E.B. Dubois?

Booker T. Washington stressed agriculture, farming and owning property. W.E.B.followed more intellectual pursuits and studied Latin and Greek. He was the more radical of the two and while Booker T. was able to get a lot of funding from white people, he was often viewed as an 'Uncle Tom" because unlike W.E.B. he did not stress equality. He believed that blacks and whites could be as separate as the fingers but together as the hand.
